West Ham United look set to wrap up the signing of Manchester City youngster Carlos Borges.
The 19-year-old winger was outstanding in Premier League 2 last season, scoring 21 goals in 24 games.
Now he will get the chance to prove himself at senior level, per Fabrizio Romano, as West ham close in on his signature.
The source states that West Ham will be paying a fee in the region of £14 million for Borges.
Much as they did for Southampton's Romeo Lavia, City will add a buy back clause into the agreement.
Such a deal would let them get first refusal to sign Borges if he becomes available down the road.
