West Ham have been granted a UK work permit for Felipe Anderson.

The Daily Mail says the Hammers have been granted work permit for Anderson as they prepare to smash their transfer record in a deal worth in region of £40million.

The move is set to be announced in the next 24 hours.

A deal for the Lazio winger to move to the London Stadium was on the cusp of being completed earlier in the week after the Hammers increased their offer.

West Ham will pay an initial £37m for Anderson. Add-ons are likely to make the move worth as much as £40m.
