West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski says they must not allow their season to peter out.
Fabianski reiterated the Hammers' determination not to let the end to their 2018/19 season drift following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Cardiff City.
"It is very important that the season doesn't drift," he said. "We want to finish the season strongly. We have got eight games left and we would like to get as much as we can from them. We have another two home games now and that is important for us.
"It is hard to say why we've started slowly in some games recently. Against Newcastle at home we started really well. The team was up for it. The manager is very demanding and wants us to keep pushing, listen to him and react to his words.
"It is a new group, many changes have been made in the summer and it is always a process, it always takes time, we will continue to do our best to learn more from our mistakes and get better as a team."
