Hoffenheim have confirmed their interest in Malmo winger Jiloan Hamad.
Hamad is also a top target for Fulham, Norwich City and West Ham United.
"We are close, but there are other clubs interested. We are very interested in recruiting him. I hope we can do it the next day," he told Sport1.
"It would be great [to get Hamad]."
West Ham did hold talks with Hamad's representatives in the summer, however no agreement was reached over a deal to bring him to Upton Park.
