West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has suffered a fresh setback in his bid to return from injury.

Carroll is working his way back from a heel injury.

The Sun says Carroll, 24, who has not played since May because of two different heel injuries, has had his recovery delayed by a viral infection in his stomach.
