West Ham confidence growing says Grant

Avram Grant feels the confidence of the West Ham United players is beginning to grow after a few improved performances.

The Israeli tactician has seen his side grab two draws and a win from their past three to get off bottom place on the table and Grant senses a change in the players' moods ahead of Saturday's Upton Park fixture with fellow relegation battlers Wolves.

"The confidence is growing in the players, although they were like this before. I said many times they saw the difference between losing and taking points was only small because we dominated so many games," he said.

"We had a good win two days ago and with a bit more freshness we could have taken the points again. We will do our best against Wolves."

And captain Scott Parker agreed with the manager's sentiments: "We have confidence definitely and it has been there all year although there are times when it gets a bit edgy and it is bound to when you are bottom of the league.

"You aren't going to be flowing all the time but every one of us is confident that we can get ourselves out of this."
