West Ham chief Brady raps James over stadium criticism

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has rapped David James for criticising their planned move to the Olympic stadium.

Brady wrote in her diary for The Sun: "Former Hammers keeper David James says he wants West Ham to hang around at Upton Park - and not move to the Olympic Stadium.

"That's his view and fair enough. He thinks we'd never be able to fill the seats, suggesting he hasn't checked our capacity crowds this season.

"I hate the way he ties it around the neck of Bobby Moore.

"Perhaps it's worth replicating the words of Bobby's daughter Roberta: "Upton Park is West Ham's spiritual home but life moves forward and it's a wonderful opportunity. Dad would think so too.

"He was proud of his country, having played for England, and he would've loved the Olympics and the legacy they've left."
