West Ham chief Brady backing Barton for QPR success

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady is backing Joey Barton for success at QPR.

In her diary for The Sun, Brady wrote: "Joey Barton twitters to anyone who's prepared to listen.

"Newcastle United's owners were and he was sacked. You could accuse QPR of bringing a one-man riot to the capital, but if he fulfils himself as a footballer, he'll be the best signing of the year. If not, hold the front page."
