West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola has revealed re-signing Lucas Neill is not a priority.
The Australian international is currently a free agent after his contract at Upton Park expired at the end of last season but has turned down offers from the Hammers because he is reportedly holding out for an improved deal.
Neill has been closely linked with Turkish club Galatasaray and West Ham's Premier League rivals Sunderland but Zola says despite this interest, he is not a priority.
"He was in talks with West Ham, then I find out he was in talks with Galatasaray and with Sunderland. Now I don't know what's going on," Zola said.
"But he's out, and that's no good for him. For the moment, he's not our priority in that position."
