West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola admits he's found the January market "very annoying".

Zola is the latest boss to express his frustration about the transfer window and it is no surprise with Lee Bowyer and Matthew Etherington already off-loaded and Bellamy and Scott Parker also linked with moves away.

"We want to keep this team together and we want to improve it," Zola added. "For me this transfer window is not good because you work very hard then you see clubs with much more money come in trying to pick up your best players.

"It's very annoying I have to say, but we're confident we can keep our best players. I've got a fantastic squad and they're doing very well despite everything that is being said about us."
