West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed they're signing James Ward-Prowse.

The departing Southampton midfielder's move could be confirmed today.

Moyes said: "James Ward-Prowse is having a medical just now. We've agreed a fee but it's not right I speak about him as he's not yet our player."

On new signing Edson Alvarez, who arrived from Ajax yesterday, Moyes also said: "We're really happy to get him through the door. We've worked hard all summer and hopefully they'll be like London buses now.

"He's not trained at all since the CONCACAF Gold Cup so he's not available tomorrow."
