West Ham United boss David Moyes could turn to a former club for players this summer.
The Scottish manager is being linked with moves for Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones from Manchester United.
Both are surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and would welcome the move.
The Independent reports that Jones and Lingard would be seen as Moyes as improving his options in defence and attacking midfield.
Both moves are contingent on the club staying in the Premier League, as neither would want to play in the Championship next season.
Wages may also be an issue, with both on considerably more money than West Ham would be willing to pay this summer.
