West Ham boss Moyes happy with Freiburg draw

West Ham United manager David Moyes was pleased with their Europa League draw.

The Hammers are set to take on Freiburg in the last 16, having already played them in the group stages.

Asked if they were ready to go deep in the competition, Moyes focused on being complimentary towards their rivals.

He stated to reporters: “The manager has done a great job at Freiburg, he's had a great length of time at one club. We're looking forward to going back and playing them again.

“I thought they were the toughest team in the group and we've got to try to go back there and win for a second time."

Asked if beating them twice this season will help, he added: “I don't think it makes it any easier. The group was very tight, the games were close, I don't see a huge difference.

“There are some huge teams in the competition – top of the English league, top of the German league – so you want to avoid them, but it is a tough game."
