West Ham boss David Moyes hailed matchwinner Said Benrahma for their FA Cup win against Brentford.
Substitute Benrahma's second-half winner from 25 yards handed the Hammers victory over the team that defeated them 2-0 in the Premier League last week.
It was West Ham's first win in any competition since November 3 and with a trip to fellow strugglers Wolves next in the league, Moyes said: "We've got something to build on. Hopefully we can get back on track.
"This was a tough draw and we had them last week in the league. We're thrilled to be through. I said last week in the press conference: 'We could do with someone scoring a screamer'.
"Said definitely did that. Said has done this in different games – he's come off the bench and been an impact. We saw at the World Cup how much the substitutes made a difference. Thankfully Said did it for us. I could've easily have started him. But he came on and scored a terrific goal."
