West Ham boss David Moyes wants to bring Alan Stubbs to London stadium.
The Mirror says Moyes wants Stubbs to join him at West Ham.
The ex-Everton and Celtic defender, who played and coached under Moyes at Goodison Park, has been offered a position on the Scot's back-room team at the London Stadium.
That approach follows Moyes' failure to appoint Stuart Pearce as his defensive coach for a second time.
Pearce was keen to take up the role, which he held during Moyes' first spell as Hammers boss, but the board blocked the move over commends he made about the club in the media.
Stubbs, 48, back on Merseyside after his time as St Mirren boss ended after just three months, will give an answer to the Irons in the next few days.
