West Ham boss David Moyes is delighted with the form of Jarrod Bowen.

Bowen struck again in last night's Europa Conference League win against Anderlecht.

Moyes said, "He's getting a real consistency. Maybe he started a little slower, but he's back closer to his form now.

"He's looking like he's going to score and create chances too.

"He's in better condition now than he was at the start too, it was difficult for the players who were involved in the internationals over the summer.

"You can see the improvement in him, technically he's faster and quicker than he's been and tactically too.

"If you think of the best wingers over the years, nearly all of them became centre-forwards and goalscorers and maybe you can see that in Jarrod too.

"If you look at his goalscoring record over the years it has been pretty good, and it's been that way consistently for us too.

"If you think of the best wingers over the years - Ronaldo and Messi - nearly all of them became centre-forwards and goalscorers and maybe you can see that in Jarrod too as his career is going on.

"If you look at his goalscoring record over the years it has been pretty good, and it's been that way consistently for us too."

On his World Cup chances, Moyes added: "He is a really good boy to work with. He wants to listen and watch his clips back and watch his runs. He wants to see where he can improve. He is a really diligent boy at trying to improve his game.

"I have told him if he scores five or six goals between now and the World Cup, he will have a chance of going to the World Cup. He has a couple already so he has a chance. Let's hope he can keep it going."
