West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is counting on a big season from Joe Hart.

Hart is set to make his debut for West Ham and is bound to get some stick at Old Trafford, given he is on loan from Manchester City.

"Joe Hart is quality," Bilic said. "He is England's No 1 goalkeeper and you are considering England to always be one of the contenders for the European Championship or the World Cup.

"I remember him from Man City, I remember him from England and I remember him from Torino. He is a very, very good goalkeeper.'

It was Pep Guardiola who decided to ditch Hart but Bilic said: "We have total faith in him – otherwise we would not have signed him. We have complete faith in him. I know he is a top goalkeeper."
