West Ham boss Allardyce: Morrison must keep temper in check

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is disappointed Ravel Morrison earned himself a booking at the end of defeat to Crystal Palace.

Big Sam wrote in the London Evening Standard: "We'll miss Ravel Morrison through suspension tomorrow. I missed his little altercation with a Crystal Palace player because I was heading towards the dressing room but he shouldn't have acted like that.

"The punishment for not keeping control of himself is that he can't play at Liverpool which is a blow, both for him and us. Andy Carroll's back with us and just his presence at Chadwell Heath has been a boost for the rest of the lads. He still has some way to go yet and we'll take things carefully but, hopefully, we will see him back in the not too distant future."
