West Ham United are interested in Stoke City striker James Beattie.
The Times says the Hammers have inquired about taking Beattie on loan, but Stoke City will consider only a permanent transfer. The forward clashed with Tony Pulis, his manager, last month.
Blackburn Rovers are also keen on Beattie, who began his pro career at Ewood Park.
