West Brom have handed trials to released Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh.
The Sun says West Brom boss Tony Pulis – who managed the Moroccan during his time in charge at Palace – has invited him for a trial as he looks to add to his attacking options at the Hawthorns.
Chamakh will play in a friendly game against Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos today and is hoping to impress enough to secure a contract with the midlands club.
Pulis is desperately scratching around looking for new players who are free agents having run out of time to sign new faces during the summer transfer window.
Chamakh is currently training with Palace after being invited to keep fit by Alan Pardew as he looks to secure another club.
