West Brom striker Rickie Lambert was in Paris during Friday's terror attacks.

The 33-year-old was spending a short break in Paris with his wife when the terrorists struck, killing at least 120 people with the toll likely to rise further.

A tweet from the WBA official account said: "The Club have spoken to Rickie Lambert. He and his wife are safe. Rickie wanted to thank all fans for their tweets of concern and support."

Rickie's wife Amy also confirmed the news.

On Saturday Amy tweeted: "On our way back home from Paris, our deepest sympathy to those effected, such a sad day."
