Highly-rated West Bromwich Albion attacker Lateef Elford-Alliyu has joined Tranmere Rovers on-loan.

Elford-Alliyu is set to get another taste of League football - after joining Tranmere on a 28-day youth loan.

The versatile forward follows in the footsteps of fellow Academy product Sam Mantom, who joined Rovers on a temporary basis only two days ago.

Elford-Alliyu, 18, will be aiming to help Tranmere climb the League One table as they are currently 17th - three points above the drop-zone.
