West Bromwich Albion youngster Chris Wood is set to join Championship club Derby County on loan.
The 18-year old New Zealand international has emerged as a strong target for the Rams who have enquired about his availability.
Baggies boss Roberto di Matteo is reportedly prepared to let Wood leave The Hawthorns to further his development with more first team game time.
The current transfer window closes this evening and Derby are keen to push through a deal before that occurs.
