West Brom's Hodgson pondering loan for NYRB's Ream

West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has heaped praise on New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream.

The 24-year old USA international spent a week on trial with the Baggies and impressed so much that Hodgson has suggested a loan could be on the cards just days after admitting he was unsure if anything would materialise.

"He has done very well," Hodgson said. "He has made a good impression on everybody and we think he's going to be a good player.

"We would consider a loan, absolutely. It's to do with New York Red Bulls and the MLS."
