West Brom reach deal with Galatasaray for striker Mbaye Diagne

West Brom have reached a deal with Galatasaray for striker Mbaye Diagne.

The Daily Mail says Diagne will become a West Brom player for the rest of the season after a deal was agreed on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old will arrive to help Sam Allardyce's relegation battlers as they bid to turn around their campaign and retain top flight status.

Galatasaray have rubber-stamped the deal with the Midlands club though it remains unknown as to whether an option to buy has been included within the agreement.

Senegal international Diagne has scored nine goals from 15 appearances this season in Turkey, suggesting he could be the answer to the Baggies toothless issues in front of goal.

Allardyce has recognised an urgent need for for firepower within the ranks with West Brom having scored just 15 goals in 20 games so far this season.
