West Bromwich Albion are pushing to land Watford striker Danny Graham.
The Birmingham Mail says the Hornets revealed last night that Albion had made an opening offer for the 25-year-old - a bid of £2.5million, which was rejected by the Vicarage Road club.
A similar fee from QPR was also turned down last week for the 27-goal marksman.
Prising Graham away from Watford might prove tricky as his former club Carlisle are entitled to a 15 per cent sell-on clause, which will only increase his value.
