West Bromwich Albion are battling to reach terms with Rangers over midfielder Stevie Naismith.
The Daily Mail says the latest offer, believed to be worth less than the £2million previously reported and heavily weighted with add-ons, is actually the third attempt the Premier League side have made to land the Scotland international in recent weeks.
Naismith renegotiated the terms of his contract last month when Rangers players accepted swinging pay-cuts following the club's descent into administration.
