Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is emerging as a top contender for the West Bromwich Albion job.

The Birmingham Mail says with a number of interviews having already taken place this week it remains to be seen if Jeremy Peace has Sherwood pencilled in for talks this week or early next.

Sherwood's belligerent managerial style would certainly be a change in direction for Peace whose search has certainly narrowed down.
