West Brom open Man Utd talks for Zaha deal

West Bromwich Albion are chasing Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.

The People says the Baggies are keen to do a deal for the former Crystal Palace sensation next month, and have opened talks to get his switch from Old Trafford finalised.

United chief David Moyes is happy to let the forward - who has been capped twice by England - leave for Premier League action, as he has not started a league game for the Red Devils since arriving from the Eagles.

Zaha, who came on as second-half sub in the 1-0 defeat at home to Newcastle yesterday, is wanted by several sides, but Albion are in pole position.

Cardiff City and Stoke City also want the 21-year-old front-runner to join them on a short-term basis.
