Relegated West Brom are considering an audacious summer swoop for Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson. The Birmingham Mail claims that Ferguson even attended Sunday's game against Liverpool as a guest of the club following a brief tour of Albion's facilities.

Ferguson seemingly has no future at Ibrox following a major breach of discipline while on Scotland duty.

However a major stumbling block could be the players wages which are in excess of Albion's top earners and whether the Scotland international would drop into the English Championship.
