West Brom are making a £1.2 million offer for Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill.

The Mirror says West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo is making a £1.2million bid to sign keeper Myhill from cash-strapped Hull.

Premier League new boys Albion want the Wales international to join them and compete with former England No.1 Scott Carson as they give themselves double cover for their expected survival battle.

Myhill is available as Tigers are trying to move out a handful of players to balance the books, and pay the bills to avoid going into administration.
