West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez was delighted to see his teammate Ahmed Hegazi score a header in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth.
The Egyptian centre-back, who has joined the Baggies on a loan move from Al Ahly this summer, scored from a corner in the 31st-minute of the game.
Rodriguez revealed that the set-piece routine was practised by Baggies players in training, and Hegazi executed it perfectly against the Cherries.
Rodriguez said: "It was a real joy for the lads to see that one go in because it's a set-piece we've spent time on.
"He's fit, strong, great on the ball and he's really strong in the air as we saw. We've worked on that and it paid off."
