West Bromwich Albion are lining up Sam Allardyce as their new manager.
Tony Pulis was fired on Monday after leading the Baggies to just two wins in their first twelve games, leaving them one point above the drop zone.
Given Allardyce's experience at keeping teams in the Premier League, the Express understands the club's Chinese owners want to install the 63-year-old at the helm.
Allardyce has been out of work since leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season. He took over the Eagles last December and ensured their Premier League safety on the final day of the season.
