West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper coach Dean Kiely believes Roy Hodgson can handle the scrutiny of the England job.
Kiely is convinced Hodgson will take no notice of it all.
"The gaffer could say, 'I'm not bothered' (to the criticism) in five different languages," Kiely told the Sunday Mercury.
"He is bulletproof in that he just cracks on and does what he needs to do.
"The best thing I could say is the public perception and the private perception is different and that's to Roy's credit.
"You don't know what he's like and he doesn't need you to know what he's like."
