West Bromwich Albion are close to securing the signature of former Sheffield United defender Kean Bryan.
The Express and Star claims a deal could be done within the next 24 hours, following injuries to Matt Clarke and Dara O'Shea.
Clarke has a hamstring problem, while O'Shea could be out for the long term after suffering an ankle injury on international duty.
Bryan is now likely to sign for West Brom as they look to bolster their numbers in that area of the squad.
The 24-year-old managed 13 games for Sheffield United in the Premier League last term, before letting his contract run down and leaving on a free transfer.
