West Bromwich Albion's director of football administration Richard Garlick is refusing to change his stance on Tottenham target Saido Berahino.
The 22-year-old forward is a long-term target of Spurs, and after failing to reach an agreement with the Baggies in the summer, the North London club are expected to again come looking for the player in January.
But Garlick insists the Baggies will not be forced into an unneeded sale.
"We can't stop people if they want to bid, that is up to them," Garlick said. "The jungle drums are not sounding.
"There is always going to be speculation in the press but we have not had any discussions or been approached.
"The club's position remains unchanged. He is not a player who we have identified as one we want to move on."
