West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has hopes of a couple signings today.
Pulis wants a striker as a matter of urgency while he also wants a second wide man to add to his solitary signing so far, Callum McManaman.
He said: "You line a few up and you are hoping they drop for you and if they drop for us then they will give us a lift. If they don't then you get on with what you've got - that's what you have to do.
"Am I spinning a lot of plates? Not as many as I usually spin but if the ones drop for us then I'll be very, very pleased.
"They will each have to be close as we only have a day to go!
"We are battling away with every other team in the Premiership to try and improve what we have got."
