West Brom boss Pulis has sympathy for Berahino

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has some sympathy for Saido Berahino after a difficult week.

Berahino is in hot water this week for stating he sees his future beyond WBA.

"I feel a little bit sorry for him in some respects," said Pulis.

"Speaking to him the kid has been at this football club since he was ten years of age and has real respect for everybody at the club and everybody who has helped him to get where he's got so far.

"The question was 'would he like to go on and play in a top four team?'. Everybody wants to play for a top four team if they can.

"His responsibility it to work for us until that happens. His responsibility is to do his best for us and score as many goals as he can from now until the end of the season.

"Sometimes I really do worry about young players, about the advice they are getting, about the people who are around them, the people who are directing them.

"With the media attention that surrounds the Premier League and young players, especially players of great talent. And the kid has got great talent."
