West Brom boss Tony Pulis was delighted with Nacer Chadli after their 1-1 draw with Tottenham.
Dele Alli struck an 89th-minute equaliser to clinch a 1-1 draw after Chadli looked to have condemned his former club to defeat.
"I don't think Chadli will get the credit, but he should," said Pulis. "It's a great save from McClean's effort, Lloris pushes it onto the post, but then he gets up so quick.
"Chadli's only got the top half of the goal to hit, a little square if you look at it. The kid sticks it in there, a real quality finish."
"If you look at it as a whole, first half we've got Ben (Foster) to thank. I thought we still looked as though half a dozen of the players were away on international duty.
"We never got up to the ball, we allowed Tottenham to play. They changed it as well, they were very clever in the way they did it, they stretched us and then got (Christian) Eriksen and Alli in the little pockets, so that caused us a few more problems."
