West Brom boss Pulis admits Foster injury a concern

West Brom boss Tony Pulis admits Ben Foster's injury is a concern.

Foster missed last night's 1-1 draw with Leicester after tweaking his knee playing football in the back garden with his son.

He missed 10 months of football from April 2015 to January 2016 with damage to his cruciate knee ligament and is due to go for more scans this week on his latest injury.

"Ben has hurt his knee which is an enormous worry for us because Ben is one of the best keepers in the Premier League," said Pulis. "We've got to check. It might be minor, but we've got to make sure that he's scanned and we find out exactly what it is before we move on.

"At the moment we don't know exactly what it is. He was playing with his son in the back garden and he's just tweaked his knee and we're a little bit concerned because he's had the cruciate.

"There was no way in a million years we were going to take the risk with him."
