West Brom boss Alan Pardew insists Salomon Rondon is not for sale.

Albion need to raise funds before making significant investment on new signings and the Venezuelan striker has been linked with a potential move.

Chelsea are on the hunt for a centre-forward and Rondon has been mentioned in European circles too.

But Pardew said: "Salomon has been absolutely brilliant since I've been here. He has been playing terrific football without getting reward in terms of goals.

"That's the next part of the ingredient for him, in my tenure here.

"He showed his leadership quality in response to James McCarthy's injury. We wish him the best. We go on. Salomon is not part of any deal."
