West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo believes Mario Balotelli could prove a major signing for Manchester City.
Balotelli poked home Carlos Tevez's cross for City's opener, before firing home the second. But he also saw red for a clash with Youssouf Mulumbu but replays suggested little contact.
Di Matteo admitted Balotelli was too hot to handle for his defenders in the first half.
He said: "We could see his ability out there. He scored two goals, both good finishes. He is quick, powerful. He's a big boy and is very difficult to stop."
