West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke was pleased with Morgan Amalfitano's debut in their draw at Fulham.
After turning his back on the Champions League, Clarke is grateful to have him at his disposal.
"I'm glad people like him," said the head coach after he made his debut.
"He came in and he's a good team player.
"He might not get the big headlines or accolades but I saw him play at Marseille over a number of years and he does his job well for the team. He does it effectively and we got a taste of that on Saturday."
