West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has dismissed talk of a loan departure for Shane Long.
The striker has been linked with Nottingham Forest.
But Clarke said: "Shane won't go to a Championship club on loan. He's a Premier League player and has a big part to play here. I would be disappointed if he wasn't frustrated and angry (about not being a regular in the side), but players have to channel that in the right way. And his performances when he has come in have been very good."
