Werder Bremen defender Milos Veljkovic is interesting Watford.

BILD says the Hornets have enquired about the Werder Bremen defender, who the Bundelsiga outfit may be prepared to sell this summer.

Veljkovic, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, joined Tottenham Hotspur's Academy in 2011 from FC Basel and made his debut in the 2013/14 season.

Loan spells at Middlesbrough and Charlton Athletic followed as the Swiss-born player sought to establish himself in England, before moving to Germany in 2016.

The 23 year-old as won nine caps for Serbia to date.
