Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was pleased to see Mathieu Debuchy in action yesterday.
The former Newcastle United defender featured in defeat to AS Monaco.
Wenger said: "He's done well. He's also not completely fit and ready but he got 90 minutes and should be better next week."
