Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has likened his team to today's opponents Sunderland.
Wenger, whose team lost to Tottenham in their last league match and now lie 12 points adrift of leaders Manchester United, is certain his players can climb the table quickly, although they have seven points from seven games and lie just one point above Sunderland.
Wenger said: "They (Sunderland) are a bit like us. You feel they have potential when you look at their squad. They have not found the confidence yet to be consistent but they look to have the squad to be in the top 10.
"Our home form is quite good so we just have to continue that. We have been stable defensively at home. We had a disappointing result at Tottenham but we have to keep belief in what we do and the way we do it."
