Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly given Thierry Henry an ultimatum regarding his coaching job with the club.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Wenger wants Henry to quit his post as Sky Sports pundit if he is to become a full-time coach with the Gunners academy.
Wenger is worried about Henry working alongside his players throughout the week before potentially speaking negatively about them during weekend broadcasts.
It is understood that Henry is keen to continue in his role at Sky while juggling his Arsenal coaching commitments but Wenger is eager for him to step into a paid role as U18s assistant.
Henry reportedly earns £4million a year from his TV commentary job and is said to have volunteered his time to Arsenal which would see the other academy coaches split his proposed salary amongst themselves.
But with Wenger wanting him to have a more involved role at London Colney, a decision either way might soon need to be made as the former French striker strives to keep both jobs.
