Wenger confirms van Persie will start for Arsenal against Dortmund

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed Robin van Persie will start in the Champions League tomorrow night.

The Gunners host German club Borussia Dortmund at Emirates Stadium in their fifth Group F outing and van Persie will be in the initial eleven after beginning the 0-0 draw with Marseille on the bench.

"Robin started on the bench last time [in the Champions League] because we had some medical concerns. Tomorrow we have no medical concerns at all, that means he will start," Wenger said.

van Persie is in red-hot form with 10 goals in his last seven outings in all competitions and 13 goals in 11 starts in the Premier League this season and has netted twice in Europe - including the opener when the Gunners drew 1-1 with Dortmund at the Signal-Iduna Park in September.
