Andi Weimann says Paul Lambert should remain as Aston Villa manager.
Lambert has confessed he's unsure of his future.
Weimann said: "There is no reason for him not to be here. I think we have made progress this season - obviously it has been difficult for the last couple of months, but that has been only the last half dozen games.
"If you look before that we were sitting in 10th or 11th and that was definitely an improvement on where we were the year before.
"He's certainly been good for me on a personal level. He gave me the chance last year and I have pretty much played every game this season too and I enjoy working for him."
